How do we use digital tools to improve the world around us? To address urgent needs?

What does it mean to be human in a digital world?

Working together, Lab participants will consider several questions concerning how digital culture is (re)shaping human identity and investigate humankind's relationship to technology:  What does it mean to be human in a digital world? How does digital identity determine how we relate to each other and the planet? How do we define and demonstrate human identity now and in the future? How does our relationship to technology create empathy or cause real-world harm? Student teams will research and develop ways to humanize digital technologies.

This Lab is presented through Seize the Moment, an initiative of Leonardo, the Humanities Lab, and the Global Futures Laboratory at Arizona State University.
